Jonathan Jose Zamora Olarte works with moving images, objects, text, and installation. By recontextualizing the historical data behind his chosen medium, He is able to create artifacts intended to poetically expose and criticize the visible and invisible power structures. His works invites the viewers to reconsider how they spatially perceive and interpret contemporary Philippine society and the modern world. Through deep investigations of his and others lived experiences, he is able to explore a range of narratives regarding the dreads of neoliberalism.
