Mercurial Currents begins with the search for a photograph of the artist’s father in 1996. A network of sounds composed of human and automated voices give life to stories about spaces that are now abandoned due to enormous technological transitions, along with the artist’s family history, and her affective relationships with these spaces.

Carolina Fusilier's work emphasize in the displacement of anthropogenic perspectives into non-human sensibilities. Looking into the connections between organic bodies with machine bodies, natural landscape embedded in domesticity. Whether through video, painting, installation, and sound, Carolina imagines intuitive forms of the post-human speculating on the life for the artifacts and technologies in which we are immersed and yet whose nature remains uncertain.
