Water like crystals, spirited ruminants and haunted lakes. A meal is prepared, animals graze, wind moves through potato flowers. Land, lore and history conflate, confuse and constellate. Meanwhile: musicians are in the street, ancient objects are unearthed and small plans are made.

Lucina Decker Orozcoexplores the spectral presence of places, objects, and matter through intimate interactions and careful, attentive observation. She inserts herself into the process, alternately revealing and withholding her presence. This investigates the interstitial spaces where mediation and relationships occur, allowing for speculation on the political and ecological nuances that reside within. Her work has been showcased at venues including Mar del Plata International Film Festival, FICUNAM, Open City Documentary festival, Torino Film Festival, Forecast Platform, CCAM. [↗]
